Italian cheeses




In 1900, Luigi Copelli embarked on his great adventure in the Grana Padano and Parmigiano Reggiano trade.

Luigi was helped in the business by his wife Ida, who continued on her own from 1935, following the premature death of her husband.

Ida's great strength contributed to excellent results and she began to select other types of cheeses, also involving her son Bruno, who was still an adolescent.

In the post-war period, the mother Ida retired from the activity and Bruno continued with his wife Elda. Together they had the idea of the first store of typical cheeses, selected with care, in the native country.

In the 80's Bruno built a warehouse for the seasoning and refining of cheeses and these were also the years in which his son Marco began to be passionate about the work of his parents and grandparents.


And here begins the third generation:

Marco created CM Formaggi, selecting particular products and searching for them in small artisan dairies.

The idea of refining and selecting niche cheeses led to the birth of the COPELLI brand, an image that is emerging in the national and international market as a synonym for quality, the same already espoused by his grandfather Luigi back in 1900.



Experience and passion are the strong points of CM Formaggi which, over the years, have allowed the choice of unique products that enhance the Italian territory, rich in history and traditions.

Everyday work is the legacy of that passion that has been passed down for generations.


CM Formaggi today, more than supplying products to customers, accompanies them on a sensory journey that generates unrepeatable emotions.
