MANIVA D'ALPEGGIO

Origin:

it is a cheese made from the milk of brown cows from the area of Mount Maniva (Brescia) from which it takes its name.

 

Product description:

it is a semi-fat hard cheese, straw-yellow in colour, sometimes with evenly distributed medium-fine holes.

 

Special features / curiosity:

enriched with saffron, it has a full and intense flavour; also ideal warmed on a griddle.

 

Seasoning:

Maniva is aged for more than 12 months, up to 24 months.

MONTE VERONESE D'ALLEVO MEZZANO DOP

Typology:

Origin:

it is a DOP cheese, typical of the Veneto region, in the northern part of the province of Verona, which roughly corresponds to Lessinia, Mount Baldo and the Veronese pre-Alpine hills.

 

Product description:

it is a semi-cooked, compact table cheese, with small eyes, slightly straw-coloured, made from semi-skimmed cow's milk. It has a fragrant, pleasant flavour.

 

Special features / curiosity:

It comes from one or two consecutive milkings; it is suitable for creating very tasty recipes, for gratinating vegetables, in flakes with polenta.

Origin:

Product description:

it is a semi-cooked, compact table cheese, with small eyes, slightly straw-coloured, made from semi-skimmed cow's milk. The flavour is intense and slightly piquant.

 

Special features / curiosity:

it can be grated and used to enrich risottos or on pasta.
