MANTUAN MOSTARDA

Product description

Mostarda comes from the Latin word "mustum ardens", hot must, because wine must was the basic ingredient. It dates back to 1300, initially as a luxury product and then, around 1600, it became a popular dish as well.

 

Mostarda are produced with fruits and vegetables mainly from our territory, harvested at the right level of ripeness. Only natural mustard is used in order to give the right level of hotness. These products were born in a farm in the Mantua area, where Mr. Copelli, after a careful selection, was able to create a combination of deliciousness between his various cheeses and these artisanal mustards.

 

Tastes:

apricot, white watermelon, orange, red onion, fig, strawberry, kiwi, apple, quince, apple and pumpkin, melon, pear, coffee pear, peach, plum, pumpkin

MANTUAN JAMS

Product description

The origins of jam are very ancient and even date back to ancient Greeks who used to slowly cook quinces with honey in order to preserve them. Jams are made with the traditional method of long boiling and with the use of natural ingredients, without colorants and preservatives.
These products were born in a farm in the Mantua area, where Mr. Copelli, after a careful selection, has been able to create a combination of deliciousness between his various cheeses and these handmade jams.

 

Tastes:

apricot with brandy, orange and melon, figs with macaroons, quince, apple with dark chocolate, pear with lambrusco mantovano doc

SALSE GOURMET

Products description

 

SALSA DI POMODORO DATTERINO:

it is a puree of juicy cherry tomatoes with an elongated shape and a sweet taste. 

 

SALSA DI POMODORO S. MARZANO WITH BASIL:

uses tomatoes grown in the heart of the Agro Nocerino Sarnese.

 

SALSA ALL'ARRABBIATA:

it is made with San Marzano DOP tomato..

SALSA AMATRICIANA:

it is made with San Marzano DOP tomato, with smoked bacon.

RAGU' DI CARNE:

it is the classic ragout based on selected beef and pork with the addition of San Marzano DOP tomato.
